RECIPES from the Garden
Ingredients:
2 tbsp ground allspice, or 30 whole allspice berries
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cloves, or 12 whole cloves
Orange or lemon zest from about 3 fruits
Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
Sprinkle of cayenne pepper (optional)
1 gallon apple cider or apple juice
Agave syrup to taste
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients except agave, and bring to a simmer in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Cook until fragrant. Will make your home smell lovely! Can be served immediately, or kept warm over low heat. Add agave to individual mugs to each person's sweetness presence
